Declared profile information
Contact details, employment/income context, expenses, liabilities and other information you choose or are required to provide for the feature.
This guide separates information you provide directly, information generated by Stelo, consent-led transaction analysis and external verification data.

Profile updates, eligibility outcomes, limits, applications, quotes, loan states, disbursements, repayments and support activity.
On supported Android devices, relevant transaction messages can be identified locally and converted into financial aggregates used for assessment.
Identity, fraud, employment or credit-reference context may be used where that source is applicable, lawful and appropriately authorised.
If a financial-analysis feature relies on a device permission or consent, declining it should prevent that optional analysis route from running. The product may then have less information available for assessment, which can affect whether a profile is complete enough for a decision.
Some information must be processed to create an account, secure access, administer a loan, confirm M-Pesa results, keep financial records or meet legal/security obligations. That processing is not necessarily optional merely because other data features are consent-led.
Where processing relies on consent, you can request to withdraw that consent for future processing. Withdrawal does not automatically erase processing that already occurred lawfully and does not cancel an outstanding credit agreement or record-retention requirement.
Credit assessment can be affected by incomplete, outdated or incorrect information. Keep declared information current and contact support if a verification or transaction record appears wrong.
